PARAGOULD, Ark. (KAIT) - Police arrested a Paragould woman on child endangerment charges after they said she crashed her truck while under the influence.

Greene County District Court Judge Daniel Stidham found probable cause to charge Christinia Taylor with first-degree endangering the welfare of a minor and driving while intoxicated.

According to the court documents, officers responded to a report on Oct. 2 of a person asleep at the wheel of a truck with a small child inside.

Before police arrived at the scene, the suspect “had driven away and onto a school campus, striking a large metal storage container,” the affidavit stated.

When officers contacted the driver, later identified as Taylor, they said she appeared to be “under the influence of intoxicants” and was arrested.

Taylor remains in the Greene County Detention Center on a $25,000 bond, awaiting arraignment. The judge also ordered her to not operate any vehicle for any reason as a condition of her bond. Stidham also issued a no-contact order.
