Vail Resorts Upgrades Ohio Ski Areas with New Snowmaking Technology and Lift Enhancements

Ohio may not be the first place that comes to mind when you think of skiing, but Vail Resorts is bringing some exciting improvements to its ski areas in the state.
Enhancements Across Ohio Ski Resorts

Vail Resorts has announced a series of upgrades for its Ohio ski areas this offseason. Alpine Valley is set to install new LED lights for night skiing, providing better visibility for guests hitting the slopes after dark. Over at Boston Mills, skiers can look forward to new water lines for snowmaking, making the operation more efficient. Lift 2 is also receiving upgrades, including a new unload deck and regraded lift shack for a smoother experience. Additionally, the Boston Mills Bar Deck is getting a makeover with a larger deck and more seating. Brandywine will also see improvements with new LED lights for night skiing and upgraded snowmaking capabilities.
Improvements at Mad River Mountain

Mad River Mountain is not being left out of the upgrades either. The Sundowner Chair has a new haul rope, and snowmaking improvements are in progress, including a rebuilt snowmaking pump and strategically placed snowguns for better coverage and earlier openings.
Investing in Smaller Ski Areas

It's great to see Vail Resorts investing in these smaller ski areas, bringing much-needed upgrades to enhance the guest experience. With the new technology and enhancements in place, all that's left is for Mother Nature to cooperate for a fantastic winter season. Let's hope for better snowfall than last year!
