Unveiling Dragon Age: The Veilguard - Character Creator News Before Launch

BioWare was recently approached about the possibility of releasing a separate character creator for their upcoming game Dragon Age: The Veilguard before the game's official release on October 31st. The game's co-director, Corinne Busche, hinted at the idea being considered, stating 'It's a much-requested feature; we're TBD on that but it would be pretty stinking cool.' This revelation came during a preview event where Andy Farrant from Outside Xbox posed the question.

Bioware Is Back!

The character creator in The Veilguard is nothing short of impressive. BioWare has always been known for their extensive customization options, and this game is no different. Players can manipulate body shape, facial features, as well as unique details like eye conditions, melanin levels, and hair textures. The diversity in character creation extends to choosing from four races - human, elf, qunari, and dwarf, with Busche highlighting an interesting player statistic from Dragon Age: Inquisition. She revealed that in the previous game, only five percent of players chose to play as a dwarf, whereas in The Veilguard, that number has increased to 12 percent, showcasing the importance of providing diverse options for players to truly embody their desired characters.
Should BioWare decide to release the character creator separately
, fans will have a chance to explore the myriad of customization options before diving into the game itself.
