Two Women in Critical Condition After Wayne Co. Shooting

MONTICELLO, KY. (WKYT) - Two women are in critical condition after a shooting in Wayne County late Saturday night.

According to Kentucky State Police they were called to investigate a shooting just before 11:00 p.m. at a residence on Winchester Road.

State Police said 25-year-old Chase A. Jackson was involved in a verbal fight with his Mother, 50-year-old Audrey J. Jackson, and his Grandmother, 94-year-old Savana H. Brock.

A Kentucky State Police News release states, Jackson allegedly shot both Ms. Jackson and Ms. Brock during the argument.

The victims were transported to the Wayne County airport, where they were airlifted to the University of Kentucky Albert B. Chandler Hospital.

Both are still in critical condition.

Jackson was found walking on Highway 90 and was taken into custody. He is being charged with two counts of Attempted Murder and two counts of First Degree Assault says State Police.

Detective Keegan Bray is continuing the investigation and the incident remains under investigation by Kentucky State Police, Post 11 London.
