Starbuck Heritage Days: A Weekend of Festivities and Fun for All Ages

The 41st annual Starbuck Heritage Days took place over the weekend, offering a wide range of exciting activities for attendees to enjoy. Fun for Kids and Adults The event featured a kids fun run, bike rodeo, Little Miss Minnewaska coronation, golf tournament, street dance, fly-in breakfast, color run, kiddie carnival with inflatables, games, and prizes. Celebrating Starbuck's History Heritage Days is a cherished tradition in Starbuck, with this year marking the 41st edition of the celebration. It is a time for families and friends to come together and honor the town's rich heritage. Highlights of the Weekend The festivities included the Grande Day Parade, fireworks, the crowning of Miss Minnewaska royalty, a community church service, and much more. Attendees were treated to a variety of entertainment, from classic car shows to interactive experiences like the color run and climbing wall. Memorable Moments The event also saw the arrival of planes for the fly-in breakfast, with the Grand Marshal of the parade, Mary Baukol, leading the procession. Hemker Zoo staff joined in with some furry friends, including the adorable bunny Whiskers.
