Sherburne County Board Approves $62.7M Preliminary Levy for 2025

The Sherburne County Board of Commissioners has unanimously approved a preliminary property tax levy of $62,765,982 for the year 2025. This marks a 3.99% increase over the previous year's levy.
Final Levy Adoption in December
The final levy for 2025 will be officially adopted in December. It is worth noting that the final levy can be lower than the preliminary one, but it cannot be higher.
Public Meeting Scheduled
Prior to setting the final levy, a public meeting to discuss the proposed 2025 budget will take place on December 5th at 6 p.m. The meeting will be held at the Sherburne County Government Center located at 13880 Business Center Dr. NW, Elk River.
