Savor the Flavors of New Canaan in the Annual Food Stroll

The annual event known as the Taste of New Canaan Stroll is back, promising a delightful evening filled with gourmet experiences while supporting the local Food Pantry.
Indulge in Culinary Delights

Hosted by Rock Paper Scissors Custom Events, the event offers three enticing self-guided walking tours to choose from. Whether you opt for The Taste Tour featuring signature bites from top eateries, the Family Fiesta tailored for families with younger children, or the Wine Trail to enjoy some refreshing summer pours, there is something for everyone. Many attendees decide to combine two tours for an unforgettable culinary adventure.

Supporting a Good Cause

In the previous year, the event managed to raise over $5,600 for the New Canaan Food Pantry, with 250 participants relishing the experience. This year, the event is proudly sponsored by Walter Stewart's Market, a beloved family-owned establishment renowned for its exceptional products and service dating back to 1907. Don't forget to pick up your wristband and map starting at 5pm from Stewart's Spirits, as the tour must be completed within a 2.5-hour timeframe, ending promptly at 8pm.

A Gastronomic Journey

Each tour ticket offers access to a selection of New Canaan's finest dining establishments. The Taste Tour presents 12 stops featuring culinary gems like Baldanza at The Adirondack Store, Blackbird, Chef Prasad, Fjord Fish Market, Plum Plums, Sole, and more. Meanwhile, the Family Fiesta route includes 11 stops at kid-friendly venues such as The Playhouse (Cinema Lab) and Tequila Mockingbird. Those opting for the Wine Trail will have the chance to sample exquisite wine at 8 different stops, but guests must be at least 21 years old and present valid identification.

Making a Difference

Proceeds from the event will enable the Food Pantry to acquire essential items at cost from Walter Stewart's Market, ensuring that the community's needs are met. Due to limited availability, it is recommended to purchase tickets in advance to secure your spot at this highly anticipated event.
