Revolutionize Your Printing Game with a Mini 3D-Printed Printing Press

Mini 3D-Printed Press Is Sure To Make An Impression
Making stamps out of potatoes that have been cut in half is always a fun activity with the kids. But if you’ve got a 3D printer, you could really step up your printing game by building a mini relief printing press.

Creating the Gear Bed/Rack with Precision
To craft the gear bed/rack, [Kevr102] utilized a Fusion 360 add-in known as GF Gear Generator. Initially, this proved to be a challenging part of the process, but [Kevr102] tackled it with innovative thinking and a hint of traditional eyeballing technique.

Innovative Roller Gears Design
Moving on to the design of the roller gears, [Kevr102] encountered some hurdles but overcame them with a creative approach. The roller mechanism is spring-loaded to prevent finger injuries, catering to the younger generation of printers as per [Kevr102]. The printing tablets were also 3D-printed, offering a unique concept. Although not ideal for certain text styles, most outputs turned out remarkably well. Alternatively, a regular linocut linoleum tile can be used for printing as well.

This isn’t the inaugural appearance of a 3D-printed printing press on these pages. Another model functions similarly to a massive rubber stamp, showcasing the continuous innovation in the realm of 3D printing technology.
