Take this opportunity to nominate an inspirational teacher making a significant difference in the lives of students. The selected teachers may have a chance to be featured on NBC 5's Texas Today, and their schools will receive a generous $1,000 donation from SMU.
How to Participate
To nominate a teacher, submit a written statement of up to five hundred words explaining how the nominated teacher empowers, influences, and impacts the lives of his or her students. The teacher must be currently employed at a school within the KXAS Geographic Viewing Area, which covers several counties in Texas.
Eligibility Criteria
The contest is open to permanent, legal residents of the United States residing in the designated viewing area, who are eighteen years of age or older. Participants must ensure that their nomination statements are original, written in English, and comply with all contest rules and regulations.
