WILMINGTON, N.C. (WECT) - Petsense by Tractor Supply will be hosting a Fall Adopt-A-Thon, Fundraiser and Community Event on Saturday, Oct. 19 at 1215 W Gate Dr.
The event will be held from 10 a.m. to 3 p.m. to help clear the shelters of adoptable pets by finding their forever homes and to raise money for the rebuilding of Fix-A-Friend.
“If you would like to have a tent, canopy, table, or chairs, you will need to bring them with you on the day of the event. Petsense by Tractor Supply hopes that you will join us in helping to educate the public on not having wildlife as pets, showcasing the wonderful work you do at your company, or simply being present to answer any questions about your business from the shoppers/spectators that the store brings in,” Petsense wrote in a press release.
The participating rescue agencies include All 4 Cats Rescue, WagonTails Farm Rescue, Freedom German Shepherd Rescue, Adopt An Angel, and Greyhound Friends of North Carolina.
The event will also have games, raffles, giveaways, more than 35 vendors to shop from, and more.
