Penn State University has announced important updates regarding parking and transportation for the upcoming Central Pennsylvania Festival of the Arts in State College. Road Closures: Burrowes Road will be closed from College Avenue to Curtin Road, and Pollock Road will be closed from Burrowes Road to Old Main starting from 6 p.m. Wednesday until 5 p.m. Sunday. These closures will impact entrances to staff and faculty parking areas. Visitor Parking: Visitor parking will be available at the West Deck throughout the festival. Parking rates vary from $1 per hour on Wednesday, $10 for 2 to 10 hours on Thursday and Friday, and $10 flat rate on Saturday and Sunday. Shuttle Service: A complimentary shuttle service will be available between West Deck, the new Palmer Art Museum, and the festival area during specific hours. Bus Stop Closures: All CATA bus stops on Burrowes Road between College Avenue and Curtin Road will be closed. Campus Shuttle Changes: The Campus Shuttle via College Avenue will not service certain stops on Thursday and Friday, and the Campus Shuttle via Beaver Avenue will have closures as well. Plan ahead and make sure to utilize alternative transportation options during the festival to avoid any inconvenience.
