New Dining Experience Unveiled at Oak & Vine in Glen Cove with Contemporary Menu and Chic Ambiance

Rehan Alam, the owner of five successful restaurants in Manhattan, has finally realized his dream of opening a restaurant closer to home on Long Island. Teaming up with general manager Billy Figaro, they discovered the perfect location in Glen Cove, previously known as The Salt Grill.
A Fresh Concept
The main dining room at Oak & Vine boasts contemporary decor with rich blue walls, cognac-hued wood floors, and neutral furnishings. The layout includes a semiprivate area for communal dining, a separate room for larger parties, and a cozy space with a grand piano for live music events. With 140 seats indoors and 40 more on the patio, the restaurant offers a variety of dining experiences.
Innovative Culinary Creations
Executive chef Fernando Leites presents a menu that combines contemporary comfort with culinary flair. Small plates feature tantalizing options like grilled octopus with preserved-lemon butter, braised pork belly, and burrata with pistachio pesto. Pasta lovers can indulge in imported classics like fettuccine carbonara or savor homemade delicacies like cavatelli with seafood. The selection of large plates includes double-battered fried chicken, Basque-style chicken breast, and crispy branzino with parsnip puree. Vegetarians and vegans will also find delightful choices on the menu, alongside premium steak selections.
