MHP Reports 4 Fatalities During Independence Day Travel Period

The Mississippi Highway Patrol (MHP) recently shared the statistics from the 2024 Independence Day Holiday Travel Period, which came to an end on Sunday, July 7, at midnight. High Number of Incidents During the enforcement period that started on Thursday, July 4, at 6 a.m., MHP responded to a total of 141 crashes, leading to 45 injuries and tragically, four deaths.
