A recent leak has captured the attention of Call of Duty fans as cutscenes from Black Ops 6's single-player campaign have surfaced online. The leaked video, similar to last week's multiplayer images leak, was swiftly dealt with copyright claims from Activision, suggesting its authenticity.
According to reports from InsiderGaming, these cutscenes, although lacking audible sound, were obtained from the beta version of Black Ops 6. It appears that some players were able to access the beta ahead of its official release using jailbroken PS4 consoles.
Interestingly, the leaked footage currently only includes cinematics, with in-game rendered cutscenes remaining under wraps. The individual who shared the leaked content, already hit with a copyright notice, humorously captioned the video with "I did a funny".
Last weekend, additional images of Call of Duty: Black Ops 6 surfaced online, featuring multiplayer maps, menu screens, and perks. The game is set to hold a multiplayer open beta in September, offering early access to those eligible, including Game Pass subscribers, a week prior.
Earlier this week, Activision and developer Treyarch provided a glimpse into Call of Duty: Black Ops 6's Zombies mode, revealing gameplay details for a "purely round-based" Zombie experience in this year's installment.
