As summer transitions into fall, the Beach House at Simmons Island in Kenosha is keeping the Friday Bonfire Nights tradition alive with an exciting twist. Introducing the special Saturday bonfire event known as Beach House Burn.
A Night of Music and Celebration
Join us tonight from 6-10 p.m. at Simmons Island Beach for a free event featuring live music by the talented Indigo Canyon. The Beach House Burn event draws inspiration from the renowned Burning Man Festival in Nevada but pays homage to a local legend, Zalmon Simmons, and his philanthropic legacy.
Meryl Strichartz, the driving force behind the landmark building's revival, extends a warm invitation to the public to partake in the festivities. She shared, "We are hosting a special bonfire in honor of Zalmon Simmons and his heirs, who have left an indelible mark on our community. It's a tribute to their generosity and spirit of giving back to Kenosha."

Expect a captivating performance by Indigo Canyon, an alternative rock band that promises to captivate the audience with their original songs and dynamic covers. The Beach House Burn event will also feature a symbolic Burning Man effigy burning, reminiscent of the iconic ritual in Nevada.
Fall-Inspired Treats and Bonfire Nights
Indulge in special fall treats while enjoying the warmth of the bonfire at Simmons Island Beach. The regular bonfire nights will continue throughout the fall season, offering a cozy ambiance for guests to gather around the fire pit from 6:30-9:30 p.m. every Friday. Savor delicious food, sip on refreshing drinks, and create s'mores memories with available kits.
