Joe on the Go Coffee Co. to Open New Cafe in Lampeter Village

Joe on the Go Coffee Co., known for their popular coffee truck in Strasburg, is expanding their business with a new cafe in the village of Lampeter.
Expanding Horizons

Owners Nathan and Denise Claycom have announced their plans to open the new cafe at 1702 Lampeter Road. While the details are still being finalized, they are aiming to open the doors by the end of September.

New Beginnings

The cafe will be taking over the space previously occupied by A Taste of Philly, which closed in July. The building, located at the southwest corner of Village and Lampeter roads, was once home to the Lampeter Cafe. Although the original cafe shut down, the iconic Lampeter Cafe mural still adorns the building, alongside Pebbles and Lace Boutique.

Community Presence

For the past two years, Joe on the Go Coffee Co. has been serving customers from their coffee truck parked at 2 Miller St. in Strasburg, offering a cozy seating area indoors. The company is also considering opening a drive-thru coffee shop at the former PNC Bank branch on 1 E. Main St. in Strasburg. However, with the upcoming launch of the Lampeter cafe, they are taking a strategic approach towards the potential new location.

Future Outlook

The decision to expand into a brick-and-mortar cafe reflects Joe on the Go's commitment to serving the community with quality coffee and a welcoming atmosphere. Stay tuned for more updates as the opening date approaches!
