Honolulu Hale Hosts Display of Remarkable Senior Paintings

Twenty-two talented senior painters showcased their artistry at Honolulu Hale as they unveiled a collection of 100 original oil paintings. These gifted artists, belonging to the OOPPS Club (Original Oil Painting Pals) and New Beginnings Painters, wowed the audience with their creativity and skill.

The exhibit, organized by the Dept. of Parks & Recreation’s Makua Ali‘i Senior Center, featured works by seniors aged 64 to 89 years old, demonstrating that age is no bar to artistic talent. Visitors can admire these masterpieces at Honolulu Hale, located at 520 S. King Street, until October 16, 2024. The exhibit is open from 8:00 am to 4:30 pm, Monday through Friday, offering a glimpse into the vibrant creativity of Kupuna artists.
