Gamescom Latam 2024, in collaboration with the BIG Festival, made history by attracting over 100,000 visitors to its gaming expo in São Paulo, Brazil. With 124 exhibitors and participants from 66 countries, including over 700 studios and 200 publishers, the event showcased the biggest names in the industry.

In a groundbreaking move, Gamescom from Germany and the BIG Festival from Brazil teamed up to create Gamescom Latam. The event, held from June 26 to June 30, saw a surge in attendance, with weekend tickets completely sold out. Last year's BIG Festival had 50,000 attendees, making this year's numbers truly remarkable.

Future Expansion and Success
Gamescom Latam is set to return in 2025, at the Anhembi Convention Center from April 30 to May 4, and it will double in size from its inaugural edition. CEO Gustavo Steinberg expressed excitement about the event’s success, setting the stage for even greater achievements in the future.

Esports played a pivotal role at Gamescom Latam, positioning the event as a key player in the global gaming arena. The event featured 17 content partners, including industry giants like Nintendo, SEGA, and Ubisoft. The event's 226 hours of content included insights from international industry leaders and discussions led by over 400 speakers, such as David Alpert and Chance Glasco.
