FOX45: 4 injured, 12 displaced in overnight Dundalk apartment fire

An apartment fire in Dundalk left four people injured and twelve people displaced on Saturday morning, the Baltimore County Fire Department says.

On Sep. 21 at 12:38 a.m., crews say they responded to the 2100 block of Cameron Drive in Dundalk for reports of an apartment fire.

Crews arrived within minutes to find fire coming from the rear of the building with people trapped.

Crews immediately began search and rescue efforts and rescued a total of six people.

Four people suffered injuries and were transported to hospitals — one serious, three minor.

The Red Cross is assisting 12 residents and seven pets displaced by the fire.

The fire was brought under control at 1:21 a.m.

Baltimore County Police Department arson detectives are investigating the cause of the fire.
