Over six decades, she has been a dedicated employee at this beloved establishment, following in the footsteps of her grandmother, and paving the way for her son and two grandsons to join the family tradition.

People who frequent Baugher's often spot Janet Long bustling around the market. Comments like, 'You've been working here a little while,' or 'Did you just start?' frequently come her way, to which she chuckles and replies that she has been a loyal employee for an impressive 57 years. Working alongside four different generations of her family has been the defining feature of Long's career. Beginning her journey at the same time as her grandmother, Janet Long now finds herself side by side with her grandson at Baugher's. 'Being able to work with family members across different eras has been truly fulfilling,' Long shared. The 72-year-old, hailing from the Uniontown area, cherishes the bond that working together has created within her family. 'You get to spend more time with them,' she explained, highlighting the shared experiences and memories created through their work at Baugher's.
