New Orleans Recreational Department is thrilled to announce the opening of applications for their highly anticipated Fall internship program.
In-Person Registration
Those interested can apply in person on Wednesday at the Joe W. Brown Rec Center, between 4 p.m. to 7 p.m. The immersive six-week program aims to educate young individuals on the inner workings of parks and recreation. NORD CEO Larry Barabino, Jr. highlighted the diverse opportunities available in departments such as sports and administration. Successful completion of the program can lead to a stipend of up to $450 for the participating teens. To register, interested individuals must provide proof of parents' income and residency, the child's birth certificate, social security information, and report card.
