The Onslow Dairy Derby is scheduled for 6 pm on Tuesday, September 24 at Hines Farm Park and Stables, located at 1259 McAllister Rd, Jacksonville. The event, organized by the NC Cooperative Extension, spans over seven weeks and pairs 4-H children with dairy calves from Simply Natural Creamery. Throughout the program, the children learn how to care for and present a calf, honing their skills in the process.
