Call of Duty fans, get ready for some thrilling news! Microsoft has just unveiled the latest lineup of games hitting Xbox Game Pass, and the highly-anticipated Call of Duty: Black Ops 6 early access beta is one of the highlights.
Early Access Beta Details
According to the Redmond company, players who pre-order the game or are members of Game Pass Ultimate or PC Game Pass will have access to the early access open beta for Black Ops 6. The Beta will be available for download on August 28, 2024, with early access starting on August 30 and running until September 4, 2024.
New Additions to Game Pass
In addition to the Black Ops 6 beta, Microsoft has also revealed that Atlas Fallen will join the subscription service in August's second wave on August 22. Core Keeper is set to launch on August 27, followed by Star Trucker on September 3. However, titles like NBA 2K24, Guilty Gear -Strive-, and Atomic Heart will be leaving the service by the end of the month.
Exciting Updates
Contrary to previous rumors, the download size for Black Ops 6 is not 300 GB. Additionally, Activision has announced a giveaway of 6,000 early-access beta codes for the game. Xfinity Rewards members can also redeem codes through the Xfinity app or Rewards website to gain access.
Game Pass Benefits
Players with Game Pass Ultimate or Game Pass Console subscriptions will have access to the full version of Black Ops 6. However, Game Pass Console subscribers will need a Game Pass Core subscription to enjoy online modes such as Multiplayer and Zombies. The game is scheduled for release on October 25, so mark your calendars!
