Empower Veterans Through Art: A Healing Journey at Loma Linda Community Center

The
Loma Linda Community Center
is set to host a transformative event for veterans looking to harness the healing power of art.
What's Happen'n Art Movement
presents a unique opportunity with their upcoming program titled
'Veteran Art: A Path to Healing'
on Monday, Sept. 16. The event will take place at the community center located at 420 E Loma Linda Blvd.

This exceptional program offers veterans the chance to immerse themselves in various artistic endeavors, including drawing, clay sculpture, and metal art. During the four-hour art session, participants will also be treated to a delicious lunch. Moreover, all the required art supplies will be provided free of charge.

While the event is free, veterans are encouraged to register in advance to help
WHAM
effectively plan for class sizes and space requirements. Additionally, attendees are advised to bring their military ID to the first class.

The Veteran Art classes are organized on a monthly basis, specifically scheduled for the third Monday of every month from 10 a.m. to 2 p.m.

WHAM Art Association
is a dedicated organization that aims to make the arts accessible to various communities across the West Valley region. Their mission involves offering innovative art programs and extending support to marginalized groups such as veterans dealing with PTSD, individuals with disabilities, at-risk youths, Alzheimer's patients, and survivors of sex trafficking.
