Denver International Airport has recently unveiled a significant expansion, introducing 14 new ground-boarding gates to accommodate a whopping 120 million passengers annually.
A Shift Towards Ground-Boarding:
Frontier Airlines has endorsed the ground-boarding approach, believing it to be a quicker and more efficient alternative to traditional jetways for passenger boarding.
Enhanced Facilities and Dining Options:
The airport's expansion not only includes additional gates but also boasts new facilities and dining establishments such as Snarf’s Sandwiches and Breckenridge Brewery, elevating the overall passenger experience.
Future Plans:
Looking ahead, the airport has announced plans for the construction of 11 more gates in Concourse C West by 2026. Moreover, a comprehensive expansion project is projected to encompass Terminal Concourse West and Terminal Concourse East by 2045, indicating a substantial evolution of Denver International Airport's infrastructure.
