Colarusso's Coal Fired Pizza Celebrates International Day of Peace with Special Pizza Promotion

A popular pizza shop in Lackawanna County, Colarusso's Coal Fired Pizza, is spreading peace and goodwill by celebrating the International Day of Peace in a unique way. On Thursday, the restaurant unveiled a special pizza featuring pepperoni arranged in the shape of a peace sign. Partnering with the Our Lady of Peace Cheer Team near Clarks Summit, the proceeds from the sale of this 'peace sign pizza' will go towards the Saint Francis of Assisi Kitchen, a charitable organization that helps families in need, as well as supporting the cheer team. This initiative aims to raise funds for the cheer team, enabling them to purchase new equipment such as pom-poms and uniforms. Karen Gilchrist, a Cheer Mom, expressed her enthusiasm for the fundraiser, emphasizing the importance of supporting the team's activities. The pizza promotion event concluded at 9pm on Thursday, leaving a positive impact on the community and spreading the message of peace through a delicious and heartwarming gesture.
