Celebrate History: 2024 Hall of Fame and Living Legend Induction Tickets Now Available!

Tickets are now on sale for the highly anticipated Historical Hall of Fame and Living Legend induction celebration!
Join us at the Irish Cultural Center in Utica on Thursday, October 10, 2024, from 5-8 p.m.
The event promises to be a night to remember, featuring an opening reception with live music by John Hutson, a silent auction, cash bar, and a delectable dinner buffet. Attendees will have the opportunity to witness the Hall of Fame induction video and hear inspiring speeches from the Living Legends themselves.

Tickets can be purchased at the History Center, online through their e-bookstore, or by calling 315-735-3642. Prices are $60 for current History Center members, $70 for the general public, and $650 for tables of 10. All proceeds from the event will go towards facility improvements and technology upgrades, making this a night of celebration and giving back.


The celebration will honor the following distinguished individuals:

2024 Hall of Fame Inductees

- Dr. John Cochran: Army Surgeon General and physician to George Washington
- Charles A. Gaetano: founder of Charles A. Gaetano Construction Corporation, entrepreneur, and philanthropist
- Chauncey Goodrich: experimental farmer and Godfather of all modern potatoes
- Carolyn K. Tyler: a barrier-breaking educator


2024 Richard W. Couper Living Legends

- Michael Bosak: preservationist
- Lucretia Hunt: public servant and educator
- Dr. Michael Kelberman: cardiologist and autism advocate
- Bonny Niles: historian and community leader
- Michael "Doc" Woods: professor, musician, and composer
