Cleveland, Ohio - This weekend, Martin Luther King Jr. Drive and East Boulevard will be closed to traffic as Cleveland celebrates its cultural heritage and diversity at One World Day. The festival, running from 11 a.m. to 6 p.m. in Rockefeller Park, promises a vibrant display of flags and cultures from around the world.


Parade of Flags and Festivities


The Parade of Flags, a highlight of One World Day, will march down Martin Luther King Jr. Drive at noon, showcasing the rich tapestry of cultures that make up Cleveland's community. Festival parking will not be available along the closed streets, but visitors can park for free at designated lots nearby, including Metroparks Parking at 8701 Lakeshore Lot and the VA Hospital employee parking garage at 1606 E. 105th St.


Convenient Transportation Options


For attendees' convenience, buses will be running from the VA employee parking lot to various locations, including the Chinese Cultural Garden and the south entrance of the gardens. The buses will operate from 9:40 a.m. to 6:30 p.m., making it easy for festival-goers to travel between event locations. Trams will also be available to assist visitors in crossing Martin Luther King Jr. Drive.
