Cedar Point Unveils 'Siren's Curse': North America’s Most Thrilling Tilt Roller Coaster Coming in 2025

Cedar Point, the renowned amusement park in North America, has announced the upcoming debut of their latest addition, 'Siren's Curse.' This tilt roller coaster is set to be the tallest, fastest, and longest of its kind in the region, promising adrenaline-pumping thrills for all riders.
Unveiling the Legendary Siren's Curse
Embracing the park's location near Lake Erie, 'Siren's Curse' is themed around the mythical sirens that dwell beneath the lake's surface. The storyline revolves around these enigmatic creatures who lure unsuspecting sailors to their fateful doom with their mesmerizing songs. Guests will embark on a two-minute roller coaster journey filled with innovative twists and turns, paying homage to the mysterious folklore of the region.
Thrills Beyond Imagination
The highlight of the ride begins as riders ascend the towering 160-foot-tall Lake Erie shipping crane, only to halt at a precarious 'broken off' section of the track. The platform then tilts to a daring 90-degree angle, plunging riders downwards as the track securely locks in place. Cedar Point has released a sneak peek video showcasing the heart-stopping experience future riders can anticipate with 'Siren's Curse.'

Carrie Boldman, the Vice President and General Manager of Cedar Point, expressed her excitement about the upcoming addition, stating, "Record-breaking thrills have always been at the heart of Cedar Point’s roller coaster lineup, and Siren’s Curse lives up to that standard. The entire ride is an experience filled with non-stop action, but that first precarious tilted position where you’re hanging on – looking straight down – and waiting for the track to connect will be a signature moment our fans will love. It’s a first-of-its kind for Cedar Point and we’re thrilled to bring it to our guests.”
Expanding the Coaster Collection
Once 'Siren's Curse' is unveiled in 2025, Cedar Point will boast a total of 19 coasters in its impressive lineup. Additionally, the park recently introduced the Top Thrill 2 coaster, replacing the iconic Top Thrill coaster, also known as The Dragster. Despite encountering some mechanical adjustments shortly after opening, the Top Thrill 2 coaster continues to captivate guests with its exhilarating experience.
