The Cape Girardeau VA Health Center is gearing up for its third annual Fall Freedom Festival set to take place on Friday, October 18 from 7 a.m. until 1 p.m. The event has been a hit in the past, drawing in around 400 visitors each year.
Celebrating Veterans and Families
The festival aims to provide veterans and their families with valuable information about VA resources, enrollment in care, and the opportunity to connect with dedicated staff members. It serves as a platform to highlight the various services and support systems available to those who have served our country.
Exciting Lineup of Activities
Attendees can look forward to nearly 30 outreach booths set up by various VA programs and experts, offering insights and assistance on a wide range of topics. From healthcare options to mental health resources, visitors will have the chance to explore and learn about the different avenues of support available to them.
Freebies Galore
In addition to the wealth of information on offer, participants will also be treated to free food and beverages throughout the day. To ensure the health and well-being of attendees, a drive-thru flu shot clinic will be available on-site, providing a convenient way for individuals to stay protected during flu season.
