LUBBOCK, Texas (KCBD) - One person is in custody after Lubbock authorities responded to a barricaded subject Wednesday morning.
A man reportedly barricaded himself in a room at the Days Inn in the 6000 block of Avenue A. The man was seen hanging out of the broken window and talking on the phone. He also was holding what looked like a Bible.
KCBD photojournalists at the scene said a robot deployed gas into the room and the man exited through the window.
He was immediately apprehended and loaded into an ambulance.
