Auburn man arrested for allegedly damaging 75 vehicles at car dealership

AUBURN -- An Auburn man was arrested Saturday after reportedly causing tens of thousands of dollars in damage to vehicles at a car dealership.

According to the Auburn Police Department, police responded to 699 Center Street to find 25-year-old Skyler Henson swinging a weighted backpack, smashing the windows and hoods of multiple vehicles in the car lot.

Police say Henson acted alone and was immediately detained.

Police say an initial investigation indicates that Henson caused $80,000 to $90,000 in damage to 75 different vehicles.

Henson was taken to the Androscoggin County Jail where he is being held on a $5,000 dollar cash bail.

He is currently charged with aggravated criminal mischief.
