The handles being recalled include the Peerless Model PL585, Safety First Model SF585, Model S1F585, and Delta Model DF585. These handles, made of powdered-coated aluminum, are white colored, with a one-inch diameter tube and two gripping surfaces. The recall was initiated because the plastic grip pads on the handles have been found to detach on tubs with tapered side walls.
Consumer Advice
If you have purchased one of these handles between January 2011 and May 2024, it is advised to stop using the product immediately. Consumers are urged to contact Liberty Hardware for a refund and follow the instructions provided for returning the product using the packaging provided.
