According to CNN, Police Chief Scott Thurmond revealed that there was a person who was willing to pay a sum of money in order to have another person killed.
No immediate arrests have been made, according to the police.
Officer Truman Fitzgerald expressed his determination to do everything possible in uncovering, identifying, and apprehending the individuals responsible for targeting innocent citizens.
“We firmly believe that a group of individuals was targeted by multiple shooters who fired numerous rounds,”
Our detectives are currently investigating whether the shooters approached the victims on foot or if they drove by in a vehicle. In order to gather more information and make progress in the case, we are seeking the assistance of the public.
“We had no prior knowledge that this incident took place within a business.”
According to current police investigations, the shooting was not a random incident but rather a result of an isolated altercation where multiple victims were unfortunately caught in the crossfire.
