The 11th annual Latino Culture Festival recently took place in Huntingburg's Market Street Park, drawing in crowds to celebrate Hispanic heritage over Labor Day weekend.
Dance Performances Steal the Show
Members of the Baile Folklórico captivated attendees with their captivating dance performances, adding to the festive atmosphere of the event. Children also joined in on the fun, dancing along to the tunes of 'La Sonora Dinamita de Colombia' on Friday evening.
Colorful Folk Dancers Shine
As the folk dancers gracefully exited the stage to make way for the next act, the audience couldn't help but applaud their vibrant costumes and lively moves.
Family Fun and Entertainment
Families came together to enjoy the festivities, with Elizabeth Perez and her daughter Josslyn Panameno showcasing their dance moves during the lively performance by 'La Sonora Dinamita de Colombia.' Neftali Cifuentes, only 9 years old, showcased his singing and dancing talents alongside his grandmother, Juanita Guajardo, delighting the audience.
Kids Activities and Cultural Booths
Young attendees had a blast playing in the miniature soccer field set up for them, while Magdalene Juares and Alison Ramirez tried their hands at making tissue paper roses at the Traditional Arts Today booth.
Delicious Food and Sunset Views
Rosy Rivas tantalized taste buds with her freshly made pupusas, while Virginia Reyes from Crazy Corn (Elotes Locos) served up the popular street corn. As the sun set, visitors relaxed in the courtyard, swinging and enjoying the picturesque surroundings.
