A Myrtle Beach pastor has been arrested just days after the Federal Bureau of Investigation (FBI) searched his home following the death of his estranged wife in April.
45-year-old John-Paul Miller, a pastor at Solid Rock Church, was arrested and charged with assault on Wednesday.
Authorities said his wife, Mica Miller, died by suicide in April; her death gained national attention due to allegations surrounding her marriage to John-Paul.
WMBF reported that federal authorities searched the pastor's home on Friday.
On Sunday, protesters were lined up across the street from Solid Rock Church, holding up signs that read "Justice for Mica."
