Camp North End recently announced the return of its annual holiday special events, inlcuding an outdoor ice skating rink at Camp North Pole and the winter favorite Mistletoe Market, a vendors market on Saturdays.
The ice skating rink at Camp North Pole will officially open on Friday, Nov. 22 and run through Sunday, Jan. 5. It will be open daily, and tickets can be purchased in advance online or at the door.
“The holidays are always a magical time of year at Camp North End, and this year we’re so excited to grow our annual ice skating tradition with the generous support of OrthoCarolina,” Varian Shrum, community manager at Camp North End, said.
General admission tickets are $15 per person — $10 for children 5 and under — and include skates.
Opening weekend of the rink, according to a press release, will feature a show with professional ice dancers on Nov. 23 and a free, 30-minute group ice skating lesson on Nov. 24,.
Mistletoe Market will return to Camp North End for three Saturdays – Dec. 7, 14, and 21 – from 3 p.m. to 8 p.m. this season.
The market will offer a wide snacks, handmade items and other specialty goods from including over 30 businesses in Camp North End and 25 additional vendors. There will also be fire pits, seasonal food and drinks and shopping opportunities.
