LIMA — The largest coffee and donut brand in the U.S. celebrated the opening of its second location in Lima on Monday.

Dunkin’ — formerly known as Dunkin’ Donuts — is located at 1122 Bellefontaine Ave and owned by franchisee Manish Walia.

Walia has owned Lima’s other location at 751 N. Cable Road for seven years.

“This comes from hard work. I’m happy and excited to continue to be a part of the Lima community,” Walia said about the new location.

The new location is only the beginning of what Walia hopes to accomplish in the near future.

“We have five stores to build around Lima and the surrounding cities, and we are coming up with a remodel on the second store (751 N. Cable Road) that will look like this,” he said.

Walia did not specify which cities are being targeted but did hint at the possibility of another location in Lima.

“We may have another store in Lima in a couple of years,” he said.

The nearby cities around Lima with Dunkin’ locations are Wapakoneta (905 Apolla Drive), Bluffton (499 state Route 103) and Celina (1914 Havemann Road).

“Thanks to the city for giving us a chance and trusting us,” he said.
