OWOSSO, MI -- Police have identified the 19-year-old man who was killed in a hit-and-run Friday night and charges have been filed against the man accused of running him over. According to WILX-10, Dolphis Rabidoux III is charged with one count each of reckless driving causing death and failure to stop at the scene of an accident resulting in serious impairment after he allegedly hit and killed Ryan Mosher.

Mosher was killed after being involved in a pair of crashes around 10 p.m. along M-21 in downtown Owosso. Michigan State Police say Mosher was attempting to turn out of a parking lot and head westbound when he was hit by a Jeep that was traveling eastbound. Mosher was not wearing a seatbelt at the time of the crash and was ejected from his vehicle.

While he was in the road, police allege that Rabidoux was traveling westbound and ran over Mosher, but did not stop at the scene. A witness followed Rabidoux for several miles and was able to give police his location. Rabidoux was later arrested in connection with the second crash.
