Double Payments Coming for SSI Recipients in November Due to Calendar Quirk

November is set to bring a double dose of good news for Social Security recipients. Due to a calendar anomaly, those on Supplemental Security Income (SSI) will receive not one, but two checks this month.

Early Deliveries Until March

Checks for December will also be delivered earlier than usual on Nov. 29. This shift will continue until March, with January, February, and March checks all arriving ahead of schedule. The excitement doesn't stop there - a 2.5% increase in cost-of-living adjustment for retired Americans has been announced. Moreover, Social Security payroll taxes will see a higher taxable maximum. Stay tuned for more updates on this beneficial development for SSI recipients.
