Cyclocross superstar Eli Iserbyt attempted to break his rivals bike during the Exact Cross on Saturday.
Iserbyt, 26, the reigning Belgian champion and former European champion, clashed with Ryan Kamp during an off-camber. The pair had been racing the opening cyclocross event of the European season - a sport raced on bikes that are close to road bikes in the mud.
The pair had tangled and after scrambling to his feet, Iserbyt stood on Kamp's bike and stamped on his drivetrain. Kamp was furious, pulling back Iserbyt - who was attempting to remount his bike.

The pair exchanged some heated words before Iserbyt was able to escape and carry on the race. Kamp, on the other hand, was forced to run the remainder of the lap - carrying his bike to the pit lane where he was seen remonstrating with officials as he passed.
Iserbyt was then pulled out of the race, with the jury disqualifying him due to his actions. Speaking on X, Iserbyt apologised for his actions: “I understand the decision of the jury to dsq me today in Beringen.
“My acts after the hard crash were made in a rage of anger and don’t belong in this sport. For this I want to apologise to everyone involved. Now I’ll focus on the positive things and look forward to the next races!”
However, some fans now want Iserbyt banned for his actions.
"I didn't know that @IserbytEli is a d*ckhead. Let's hope he gets a big fine and suspended for this," one fan fumed. While a second said: "Wow, the way he actively put his foot in… disgrace..."
"I hope he gets a DQ and suspension. Completely out of line," a third pointed out. And another added: "Hopefully there is a suspension on it's way..."
