Crash on westbound I-90 causing traffic

SPOKANE, Wash. – A crash on westbound I-90 near Freya Street is causing traffic on Tuesday morning.

The Spokane Fire Department is responding to westbound I-90 as traffic begins to back up. It is unknown how many cars are involved or if there are any injuries.

Spokane Regional Traffic Center say that the right lane is fully blocked.

The Washington Department of Transportation is on the way to fix a light pole that was hit in the crash.

Drivers are encouraged to use caution in the area or use an alternative route as crews work to respond.
