Boca Raton woman arrested, accused of striking boyfriend with vehicle

A woman with a history of domestic violence was arrested in Boca Raton.Patricia G. Habe, 44, was arrested Monday and charged with aggravated battery with a deadly weapon, leaving the scene of a crash with serious bodily injury, and alter, destroy, conceal, remove physical evidence.According to a report from the Boca Raton Police Department, on Sunday, the victim and Habe had an argument after leaving a restaurant. The victim said the two had been dating since July.According to the report, Habe followed the victim in her vehicle as he was walking down a street. Habe allegedly hit the victim from behind with her vehicle. The victim said Habe said she “didn’t hit him that badly.”Habe left the scene after the victim told her to call police. A neighbor eventually called 911. According to the report, Habe attempted to conceal her vehicle by parking it the driveway of another person’s home. When police found the vehicle, it had damage consistent with the scene of the collision.Also located in the back of the vehicle was pieces of the vehicle damage. According to the report, the victim sustained multiple fractures to the lower part of his body.This is not the first time there has been a domestic incident between the couple as the report notes that in August, Habe was arrested in Collier County for stabbing the victim during a domestic dispute.Habe was released from the Palm Beach County Jail on Tuesday on $65,000 bond.
