LANDER, Wyo. — One person was killed and another injured Oct. 31 in a rollover crash in Fremont County.
According to reports from the Wyoming Highway Patrol, a pickup truck was headed south along Wyoming Highway 789 at just past 2:30 p.m. Near mile marker 85.3, another truck attempted to merge from the center lane, and the pickup and vehicle in front of it swerved to avoid a collision. The pickup and merging vehicle hit one another, causing the merging vehicle to lose control and roll multiple times before landing on its roof.
Killed in the wreck was 72-year-old Wyoming resident John Henderson.
